Do you keep your nose to the grind? Work hard, play hard (hopefully) and attempt to balance everything to an acceptable measure? Yes?
Me too.
What happens if we don’t? Read Tanna’s story today and be inspired!

Grace & Glory was founded with a mission to Fight Hunger, Encourage Play and Give Hope to children in need of a brighter tomorrow. We are reaching out to children that are orphaned, sick, homeless or hurting so that we can bring play back into their lives while pouring out our love for them. We are starting all of this with tutus and capes but my greatest prayer is that it will lead to a sponsorship program, community aide or helping support an orphanage. You can read the whole story here… http://www.ggkids.org/how-it-
To start we created an outreach opportunity for churches, organizations and youth groups. We host tutu making parties where women/girls can get together, hear about our mission and get crafty together. Ages 9 and up can participate. We find that there are many people wanting to help for a good cause but they might not necessarily be called to or physically able to go on a trip to a third-world country. We just had an 85 year old grandmother helping sew capes!
We delivered tutus and capes to the Children at the Nashville Rescue Mission for Christmas and the kids were so happy for their gifts and we spent some quality time with them and talking to the moms. We plan on delivering capes and tutus to shelters, orphanages and to children sick in the hospital. When we visit these shelters we also learn about their needs and will run campaigns to collect items for them.
We will be working with youth groups to help us make tutus and capes and while doing so, teach them what it is like for other children in dire circumstances. We believe our children’s generation can make great strides in fighting against hunger related issues.
Within the next 5 years we hope to have a child sponsorship program in place, and we are already talking with an orphanage in Haiti about this. It may happen much sooner! Our 10 year dream is to have opened a house to meet the needs of families like the ones we are encountering or an orphanage in Haiti.
3. A non-profit seems like a huge undertaking – how do you fund this?
Grace & Glory is currently run by myself, Tanna Clark and 2 board members on a volunteer basis. To date the organization has been personally funded. We have submitted our 501(c)(3) application and waiting approval. In the mean time we are up and running but awaiting status approval before we start seeking grants or sponsorships.
How can we get involved?

Website Editor What we need right now is someone that can maintain our site, add changes when needed and create graphics for upcoming campaigns.
Graphic DesignerWe need t-shirts and tote bags designed. This year we are growing our online store. For every item bought, the proceeds will go to a feeding program. We will be adding jewelry and t-shirts in the next few months.
Copy-writing We need someone that can help us develop materials to go with our products that will explain our mission and be a resource for parents to teach their children about hunger related issues.

Heya! I just wanted to ask if you ever have any issues with hackers?
My last blog (wordpress) was hacked and I ended up losing many months of hard
work due to no backup. Do you have any solutions to stop hackers?
The best solution is prevention! Search the sidebar for “security” to read our posts on that topic. Thanks for stopping by.
