Oddly, this simple thing can increase engagement – by tons. (Yes, that’s my scientific data). And yet very few people do it! And even fewer do it consistently!
Well, honestly? Who cares! The point is that you need to do it. And you need to do it NOW.
Just go into your email marketing provider (Mailchimp, etc) – find your regular template, and add this:
Do you think your friends would love this? Send it on! They’ll thank you and I’ll thank you! 🙂
That’s it! Super simple. AND really truly NOT DONE!
A call to action makes all the difference! I can absolutely adore your email. Get warm fuzzies, like you even more than I do. And close it out and go about my day. No problem.
But if you include a call to action, I read it – love it – and actually take a moment to think if my friends would like your email. And if its super super helpful, entertaining or fascinating I’ll send it off to a friend or two.
There’s a huge difference! If you go to the trouble of writing a newsletter, for the love of all things good – please include a call to action.
Go there now.
To the template.
Add your call to action and save it so that you remember to include it!
What are you still doing here?!?
PS – good. you’re here. Tomorrow I’m opening the queue for “8 Weeks of Blogging in 7 Days”… in 7 days we will prepare all of July & August’s content and put it on autopilot. Sound too good to be true? It’s not. It’s really just a bunch of techniques to refresh, and repurpose content – along with apps and tools to schedule stuff. I’ll walk you through each day!
