Why no one reads your newsletter

Why are people not opening your emails? Let’s assume they did, at one time, express an interest and sign-up. So why the change of heart? Are you doing something wrong?

Here are a few common reasons. These are the what NOT to do’s.

  • emails are not helpful – all yucky promos
  • they aren’t authentic – just boring business voice
  • there is no structure – or stories = boring
  • there is no call to action – or a wimpy one
  • there is no consistency – who is this again?
