There are a lot of fun developer-friendly updates but not many that will affect Kadence users.

  • The WP core is gradually adding more features to the core blocks.
  • a font library option is built-in now
  • avif is now supported (modern image format)

There has not been widespread adoption yet so waiting a few days is your best option. We will let you know if there are any issues. We have upgraded and this is written in 6.5.
