You know that most blogs ‘fail’ right? We have a great idea and end up writing all sorts of good content (for our mothers). And without any reward and months and months of hard work, its easy to see why bloggers quit! I’d like you to meet three ladies who have been doing the blogging thing for a very long time – Beth, Kara, and Jennifer.
They blog at TheVacationGals and have been doing so since 2009.
Their specialsauce is the unique, down to earth and real reviews of the spots they visit. They do not write about “round-the-world journeys, family sabbaticals in France or backpacking with an infant through China” instead you’ll find tons of information on “our own family vacations, road trips, romantic escapes and girlfriend getaways — the destinations, cities, resorts and hotels that we’ve experienced firsthand. Typically that means we’re covering North America, Western Europe, Mexico and the Caribbean.”
In review, I think their success is owed a lot to the amazing writing abilities of these gals, but also to their niche specificity and consistency.
